An Erie Philharmonic Symphonic Concert
Antonin Dvořák's Symphony No. 9, known as the New World Symphony, earned the composer an international reputation. The symphony is so influential that astronaut Neil Armstrong brought a tape recording of the symphony on the Apollo 11 mission to the moon.
The evening will open with Montgomery’s Strum and Ravel’s Piano Concerto in G featuring Sean Chen.
