It's that time of year again when children of all ages celebrate the season with one of Erie's finest traditions. Come experience the magic and wonder of the season with the Lake Erie Ballet 2012 Nutcracker. This holiday event will feature Conductor, Hugh Keelan and the Lake Erie Ballet Orchestra for both the Saturday and Sunday performances. The Lake Erie Ballet Companies and over 150 contributing performers from the Erie dance community will transport you as they take the stage with this classic tale of one girl's special Christmas gift and the adventure of her fantastic dream. Allison Walsh and Richard Villaverde of Philadelphia's BalletX will be featured guests as they perform the roles of the Sugar Plum Fairy and her Cavalier. The students of Mercyhurst and Point Park University Dance Departments will also join the Lake Erie Ballet for this delightful, time honored classic.
